Transcend and Succeed

Is Hypnotherapy For Me?

Ask yourself: “What would my life look like if ____________ weren’t getting in the way.”

So much lies within that wordless underscore above.  We all have a wordless underscore.  Smoking, stage fright, anxiety, nail biting, and literally thousands of other needlessly prohibitive things standing between us and our full potential.

Hypnotherapy is a great way to rise above, to transcend barriers by thinking and feeling differently about them.

What Hypnotherapy is NOT

While many psychotherapists employ hypnotherapy in their practices, hypnotherapy and psychotherapy are different things.

A psychotherapist engages with her client on a much deeper level with the expectation of a different kind of outcome.   Hypnotherapy (in the context in which we will be using it) is ideal for changing a behavior, either an overt behavior such as smoking or a more subtle behavior such as the emotional response to getting on an airplane. It is not necessary for us to delve into any deeper cause behind the behavior.   There are several wonderful psychologists and clinical social workers throughout Gallatin County to whom I will be happy to refer you if it becomes clear through our work that such services are warranted.
